There are four levels of concrete masonry courses starting with the basics like materials, masonry itself and construction, all the way to the advanced tier where quality assurance, thermal design, sustainability, energy codes and more, are offered. Hardscape education courses are also available from the most elementary to residential applications, and manufactured stone veneer education for manufacturers, contractors, and designers alike.

Concrete Masonry Technologist Program

Be positioned as an industry technical resource for architects, building owners and contractors by completing the first three levels of CMU education. The title Concrete Masonry Technologist (CMT) is awarded to those individuals that complete Level 1, 2 and 3 in the concrete masonry product category. Those who achieve the CMT title are awarded a certificate and will be recognized at an NCMA meeting.

NCMA Continuing Education Facilitator Program

Become authorized to give NCMA approved education sessions to architects for AIA continuing education credit. An NCMA Continuing Education Facilitator (CEF) can give NCMA-approved education sessions to architects for continuing education credit through the American Institute of Architects Continuing Education System (AIA/CES). Become a resource for architects and designers in your area.
