Regular Rate:  $625 (February 1 – February 27, 2022)

Onsite Rate:  $725 (after February 27, 2022)

 

A $75 meeting registration rebate will be issued to those attendees who register and attend both the ICPI and NCMA Annual Meetings in Kansas City, Missouri. The rebate will be given after the conclusion of both meetings, once all joint member attendance has been reconciled.

The curriculum for the Advanced Boot Camp will include interactive sessions that address the following topics:

  • How To Keep The People We Have

Understand practical, real-world strategies for increasing retention and reducing turnover in the age of COVID-19. Speaker: Cyndi Dodge, Director of Human Resources, Solomon Colors, Inc. 

  • How To Manage People in Trying Times

Learn how to navigate employee stress, conflicts between co-workers, and legal mandates while still running a business. Speaker: Cyndi Dodge, Director of Human Resources, Solomon Colors, Inc. 

  • How to Manage the Business

Learn from an experienced block producer on how to deal with supply chain shortages and how to manage product waste.  Speaker, Rocky Fizzano, Fizzano Brothers Concrete Products

The Boot Camp sessions will take place at the Kansas City Convention Center.

Registration is required for each Boot Camp and includes the exclusive “Rock the Block” Reception and admission to The Precast Show.

ICON Basic Boot Camp Registration Package - March 4

Friday, March 4, 7-11 AM

The curriculum for the Basic Boot Camp will include interactive sessions that address the following topics:

  • Know the Raw Materials

Understand the basic materials that go into the production of our concrete masonry products: aggregates, cement, pozzolans (fly ash and slag), pigment and admixtures. Learn how each material works, which materials to use and how much of each to put in our mix designs. Speaker: Craig Walloch, Vice President – Technical Support and Education, ACM Chemistries, Inc.

  • Understand the Manufacturing Process and How I Can Affect the Product 

Understand the basic steps in the manufacturing process and the importance of having proper mix sequence, filling of the feed drawer and mold, compaction, curing and packaging. Learn about easy checks you can do on line and machine adjustments you can make to ensure you are making quality products. Speaker: Dean Jurik, Vice President – Sales and Marketing, ACM Chemistries, Inc.

The Boot Camp sessions will take place at the Kansas City Convention Center.
