Part 2 – Kent Waide, Client Services Manager, Advantage Kentucky Alliance, Part of the Manufacturing Extension Program National Network

Kent will educate manufacturers on the wealth of local manufacturing resources available to them through Manufacturing Extension Programs in their own states as well as the additional connection concrete masonry producers can have to the network by virtue of the CMU Checkoff.

Manufacturing Extension Programs (MEP) are public-private partnership centers in all 50 states dedicated to serving small and medium-sized manufacturers. Last year, MEP centers interacted with 28,213 manufacturers, leading to $15.7 billion in sales, $1.5billion in cost savings, $4.5 billion in new client investments, and helped create or retain 114, 650 job.  https://www.nist.gov/mep
