SRW Installer Certification

NCMA Segmental Retaining Wall Installer certification provides market-differentiating recognition to those who achieve certification. Several programs are available, details are below.

SRW Basic Installer

The Certified SRW Installer (CSRWI) Program is available to each candidate who completes the SRW Installer Course (or equivalent SRW-installation-related education) and passes a written examination to become a Certified SRW Installer (CSRWI). Not only will it ensure better quality work, it’s a credential that’s highly valued by consumers and the broader marketplace.

In order to complete the certification process, an installer or their company must submit the an installation experience form after accruing the required installation square footage.

Approximately 16,000 installers throughout the United States and Canada have proven their commitment to understanding and improving SRW installation practices by successfully completing the NCMA SRW Installer Course. Only a very elite subgroup has obtained the Certified Segmental Retaining Wall Installer (CSRWI) credentials. By satisfying the CSRWI eligibility standards, you will distinguish yourself from your uncertified competitors.

Advanced Residential

NCMA SRW certification continues with an even more advanced residential-focused course that enables Certified SRW Installers (CSRWI) to take their hardscape installation skills to a more advanced level.

This program increases an installer’s value to their customers by instilling in them SRW applications and installation techniques for advanced residential projects.

Advanced topics include: wall layout and planning, water and drainage, cut and fill walls, tiered walls, corners and curves, stairs and patios.

Advanced Commercial

NCMA SRW certification resumes and extends with an even more advanced commercial-focused course that allows Certified SRW Installers (CSRWI) to take their hardscape installation skills to yet another level.

This program raises an installer’s value to their respective customer base by augmenting their acumen in the way of SRW applications and installation techniques for advanced light commercial projects.

Advanced topics include: wall layout and planning, water and drainage, cut and fill walls, tiered walls, corners and curves, stairs and patios.
