NCMA launches free education course for design community

The National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA), the national trade association that has represented producers and suppliers of concrete masonry products for over a century is announcing the launch of something new as they start their next 100 years.

It’s a free continuing education course for design professionals they’ve developed called “The Next Generation of Concrete Masonry” – which delves into the perceptions and cost-effective benefits of concrete masonry as a building solution, as influenced by recent changes to building codes and standards. Increased design strength, energy efficiency, flexibility and feasibility are just one of the many topics tackled.

Hosted on the website AECDaily.com – an educational hub that helps architects, specifiers, engineers and construction professionals – it’ll be accessible 24 hours a day thanks to the .com’s convenience and wealth of building information, educational opportunities, forums and much more.

The course can fulfill AIA CES credits. To take it or check it out, go here.
